Two Indian teams, Oblique Gaming and Infamous, will be on their way to the Marina Bay Sands Convention Center in Singapore to compete in the Armaggeddon Grand Slam Asia 2013. However, a lot of pride is still at stake in the title match in the Rest of Asia Qualifier with the victor likely to have more momentum moving forward to the Finals.
At this moment, it seems that Oblique Gaming is heavily favoured to win the series, with the main reason because the team was India’s representative in “The Asia”. They have also been consistently practicing against top-tier SEA teams such as MiTH-Trust, Revival amongst others. On the other hand, Infamous is known to scrimmage against fellow Indian teams.
One key factor for Infamous to have a chance at winning rests solely on the performance of their captain Xcarnation. Rumours claim that he can measure up to the farming capabilities of not only Oblique Gaming’s carries but also that of other top SEA team carries.
In their semi-final match against FUBAR, Xcarnation’s Magnus was the key to victory in the first game for Infamous. His Templar Assassin in the second game was also responsible for the punishment meted out to the opposing Queen of Pain.
