Last April 29, another imba Gigabyte Mineski Pro Gaming League took placed on Mineski Infinity Taft. It has already been the 4-4 season, and the MPGL is getting better and hotter. The weather was hot, the competition during the MPGL was also. The tournament was divided into 2 classes, A and S, which were filled with imba teams in Philippines. The event was casted in two different languages, Tagalog by Lon and TryQ , and English casted by Rapture Gaming Network Philippines’ own Jtan.

This season, the Gigabyte Mineski Pro Gaming League, was getting better and hotter. It was 3:00 pm when the Class S tournament begun. All teams were ready to pit their skills against any other competitors.

MSI won against Mineski Infinity, making them down to the consolation bracket. Another upset is iZone125, last month’s GMPGL 2nd placer lost early against both Sweetopia and Badburn. On the other hand, everybody’s eyes were set on Pacific.iChill, as they returned to the Class S Division, but sadly they left the stage early together with Pacific.Revitalize, after they fell 0-2 in the group stage. The group stage elimination was really hot and intense.

After the group stage, the main tournament bracket was announced. It was made up by MSI Evolution Gaming Team, Sweetopia, Badburn and Ledion.Dreamz. The consolation bracket was made up by Pacific.iChill, Pacific.Revitalize, Mineski PowerColor and iZone.

The competitions on the main tournament bracket were hot. All eyes were on MSI Evolution Gaming Team and Ledion.Dreamz. Ledion.Dreamz was able to advance after defeating MSI. The MSI Evolution Gaming Team “wag lang magchochoke..” (as long as we don’t choke) attitude was a big help. Being careful and alert was indeed one of the best things to consider, but unluckily, MSI fell into the lower bracket. In the lower bracket, Dreamz faced MSI EvoGT in a closed match which MSI EvoGT won.

The competition got hotter as in the grand finals when MSI Evolution Gaming Team faced Badburn. Badburn shocked the arena with their performance. After defeating Ledion.Dreamz in the semi-final, Badburn advanced to the grand final. They faced MSI Evolution Gaming Team in a very exciting match. The match was one of the hottest matches everyone had ever seen. After their long journey finally Badburn were crowned as GMPGL 4-4 Champions, proving that dedication and perseverance leads to success.

Team Badburn – The champion of GMPGL 4-4

The consolation bracket was not less exciting then the main bracket thanks for Mineski Infinity, iZone125, Pacific.iChill and Pacific.Revitalize, because two of them would be eliminated in the Class S division. Unfortunately, the unlucky ones were iZone125 and Mineski Infinity, that made one of the biggest upset in the history of GMPGL.

The storyline after GMPGL/ Recap

Badburn – A great performance from Badburn. They were crowned as GMPGL 4-4 Class S champions. They are continuing on proving themselves. Team played a wonderful Windrunner, and they have “Mr. Bayabas” as secret weapon. Everyone must watch out for Badburn.

MSI EvoGT – The “wag lang magchochoke” attitude continued. By defeating Mineski in the group stage, MSI EvoGT showed people what they got. With their new member, the child prodigy “Nando” from iChill, the team’s chemistry and performance got better. Became 2nd placer on the MPGL was a good result for the team.

We got a chance to ask Invasion.my manager, John Lim, about what he thinks about MSI EvoGT. Chúng tôi đã có cơ hội để phóng vấn quản lý của Invasion.my , John Lim, về những điều anh ấy nghĩ về MSI EvoGT.

Ledion.Dreamz – A great performance for Dreamz. A great start for Ledion.Dreamz during the group stage standing 2-0. The team showed how hungry they were for victory. Outsmarting picks during their matches led them to victory. The BigDogJ aura continues to shine over the team’s players. Despite of the lack of international competition, Dreamz proved how good they are.

Sweetopia – A great performance for the team. The strategy and chemistry of the team got better. Their hardworking and perseverance were now paying off as we could see. Let’s see what’s coming up for Sweetopia-

Pacific.Revitalize – A bad performance for Revitalize. They fell 0-2 in the group stage. But luckily, they were able to beat Mineski in the consolation bracket so they will stay in the class S.

Pacific.iChill – Bad comeback in the Class S for the team. The team fell 0-2 in the group stage but managed to defeat iZone out of class S.

Mineski Infinity – After losing early during the group stage, Mineski Infinity PowerColor continued to try their best in the consolation bracket. The big upset during Mineski Infinity’s match against MSI Gaming Evolution Team led to a bigger controversy. The manager of Mineski Infinity, Nattlefrost, said there was a problem with the team and it made them lose their chemistry. Now the team was dropped into the Class A division. What is next for Mineski?

iZone125 – Crowned as the 2nd prize of GMPLG 4-3, but during this season, iZone showed a very bad performance for the team. Now the team was dropped into Class A.

I got a chance to interview one of the most famous shoutcasters, David “GGnetGodz” Parker about what he thinks of PH DotA teams. He said:
