Flash e-Sports had been known for their achievements in the competitive in StarCraft II and FIFA tournaments. Today, the Singaporean team talents continue to prove what they’re made of and how far they can go.

Here is a one on one interview with the Flash eSports manager, Terence “SoloZ” Ting
RGN: Hi Terrace, please introduce yourself.
Terence: Hi my name is Terence. I’m 21 this year from Singapore and I’m currently running the professional gaming team Flash e-Sports.

RGN: How did you get involved in the competitive scene?
Terence: My journey in competitive gaming began back in 2007 when I first joined a local DotA forum as a moderator. From there, I worked my way up, joining their on-site media team to both organizing and covering events. Later, I was invited to write for the prestigious MeetYourMakers gaming team based in Denmark at that time. I served there as editor-in-chief of my section for close to two years, and after that experience I decided to set up something similar here in Singapore.
RGN: What are Flash’s achievements until now?
Terence: We currently have the best StarCraft II and FIFA players in the country. In the past, their gaming career has seen them winning multiple WCG national titles cementing them as the nation’s best, whilst after joining us they have continued on their streak of competitive successes. The ones that stand out would be retaining our Cyberfusion eSports league titles in the recently concluded Season 2, as well as Revenant travelling to Thailand and winning the Electronic Sports Thailand Championship last year.
RGN: What is your goal?
Terence: Our goal as a team is to become the best and most recognized team in SEA, an equivalent of Fnatic or Evil Geniuses.
RGN: What is Flash focusing on regarding eSports right now?
Terence: Our focus, as you can see from our twitter profile, is to hone and bring out the best in every top local gaming athlete we sign. At the moment Flash is purely a Singaporean team – I do not rule out that we will remain exclusive in the future though. Now, our priority is to push our current lineup and see how far we can go with our local crop of gamers.
RGN: What do you expect this year for Flash?
Terence: Expectations have and will be laid out for each member of the when our sponsors are officially lined up, and I expect success from each of them in individuals.
