I started participating the Vietnamese FIFA community accidently in late of 2006. Untill now, FIFA brings back to me so many things and be the  unreplacecable scene of my life.

To be honest, I’m a crazy fan of FIFA series, I’ve played FIFA since 1998 with the FIFA World Cup 98 version, when I was 7. Although I was a little boy, I adored using personal computer with the applications. I was lucky having a computer so I could play some minigames like Mario and Diana (The bomb game). Especially, the FIFA World Cup 98 had Vietnamese international squad with famous players: Hong Son, Huynh Duc, Do Khai, Van Si Hung and it’s made my felt so cool. I remember using dial-up connection so I couldn’t play with any gamers. Days by days, I played the later FIFA versions at home quite good and it made me so confident with my playing level.

In 2005, I even didn’t know what’s eSports, playing game was simply a very good relaxing way to me after school time. When I studied sencondary school, I played StarCraft and Football manager because of my low configuration computer. One day, my friend gave me the invitation card of World Cyber Games 2005, I just asked myself “oh what’s World Cyber Games? Do they compete with each others in game?”. So I decided to come to Phan Dinh Phung stadium to discover.

You know, World Cyber Games likes a real festival where the gamers have chance to meet up and compete. Beside, the sponsors and big company of technology and information technology exhibit their products. Untill now I had a lot chances to join the Vietnam World Cyber Games grand final, but 2005 event undoubtable the biggest and most impressed me.

I remember entering the vivid lights area with so hustle music, they were the evidences of big festival. I walked around the boths area and found out online games both. When I was playing online games I heard the notification from the master of ceremony, he said “everyone please assemble to front of the stage, we are coming to see the FIFA05 final game”. I asked myself how skilled they are? How can they clinched to join the final game. It was the game between Nam Anh “b1uegh0st” Ta and Thanh Vy “Winnie” Tran, I saw them only try to use the crossball and longball to attack each others side. And I was shocked, they scored quite nicely and easily.

The final result, B1uegh0st – gamer came from Hanoi was the champion of Vietnam World Cyber Games 2005.

When graduated secondary school and join high school, I decided to join the Hochiminh musical university and had more time for gaming, my father also bought me new personal computer. I bought the FIFA07 installing DVD and hoped to go pro and achive like B1uegh0st and Winnie. Accidently, when studying in musicall university I made friend with 3H|bAchDJ, he commented me about playing FIFA pro scene and it’s made me having strange feeling. He advised my to find www.fifavn.com to get mo experiences. I’ve learned how to play fifa online through direct IP, I played with him every night. You guys can imagine it’s like you walk freely and find the gold, yes, gold.

I’ve found so many friends on FIFAVN when I was a newbie. To me, the guides on this forum were helpful, I known how to join the mIRC network and use setup pad to play online with players around Vietnam. I joined #fifa.vn on IRC network, and recently a gamer asked me to play. I couldn’t remember his nickname but this match I lost to him 0-5. I also recognized that playing with computer made my playing style so simple and easy for anticipation. I got the first winning match 2 weeks after, the match score was 2-0. 

I remember seeing about 32 players online @iRC network, #fifa.vn room. I tried play hardly to get the high rank, and find chances to join a pro team!

I join the Triple H team without any difficult because I’ve made friend with bAchDJ and pitterbean before, so they refered me to join team. At this time, Triple-H team was training in E-Live center which too far  from my home. So my team manager, Kahunavn seted me to stay at home instead of play in every training day, I only had to come when the team has meeting.

My very first game in 3H tag was the clanwar match with 4EVE team,. I was choosen to play the first match wih [4EVE]Sonix. He used very good the strong and fast players. Finally I lost to him 3-4, but it was very exciting experience to me because I playin under pressure.

The first tournament which I registered when I was a freemem is FIFA VN Cup 1st hosted by FIFAVN.COM. However, I couldn’t play because of the late appearance, it’s was a bad memorie. After that I joined Tripple-H team and participated the Ho Chi Minh Wolrd Cyber Games qualification and beatted my opponent 6-2. Despite of that, I lost to another freemem 2-3. I decided to buy a personal gamepad, instead of playing by keyboard.

Vietnamese FIFA season 2008 came with more projects of FIFA tournaments of ESVN. Firstly it was VESC 2007, I also started with some winning games but lost to [4EVE]TKKG, it could be more chances for me if I won that game. But in VESC 2007 I played under the cheers of my clanmates, its was so cool feeling.

When you start training eSports, the vital secret of successfully is you have to join a good clan/team, they have important position of your go pro road. You can learn everything from your clanmates and improve your skills. Moreover, your clanmates always cheer you up in the tournaments so you can competing with 200% ability, I had passed this feeling when Triple-H team championed VESC 2007, ELS Summer 2008 and World Cyber Games 2008 – when Trung Hieu “L2vn” To went down UDF|FIFAKILLER to get the oversea slot participating WCG grand final in Seattle, USA. By Vietnamese, this feeling called “phê”.

Still I adjusted and trained eSports, I had got so manythings and lost .in the same level. Firstly it’s the time, i played very hard and didn’t care sufficient for my studying. Howerver, until now I spend time to training FIFA and preparing for Triple-H team plans in the future. Maybe I can be a skilled eSports gamer, but firstly I’m sure I have adequate passion with eSports.

- Make sure you have enough time for training, if not, please arrange and control your time management logicly so you can balance your real life and gaming life.

- Try to read news from famous eSports website like SK-Gaming, MYM and Gosugamers. It helps you can update your background of eSports.

- Don’t forget researching replays and VODs of pro gamers.

- Always save your passion for eSports.
