IAHGAMES BRINGS ANOTHER CHINESE MYTHOLOGY BLOCKBUSTER NEW GULONG ONLINE TO SOUTHEAST ASIA
Singapore, 4 February, 2013 – Fans of Chinese Wuxia games in Malaysia and Singapore will now have the opportunity to play the highly anticipated Chinese mythology game New Gulong Online （新古龍Online）.
After the successful launch of the first mega epic Wuxia online game - PAL Online (“Xin Xianjian Online”，or “新仙剑 Online”) – developed by Shanghai-based award-winning games developer, Dream Square, IAHGames will launch another blockbuster Wuxia online game.
This latest game – New Gulong Online – is developed by Zealot Digital International Corp, a subsidiary of Taiwan’s first listed computer games company, Softworld International. IAHGames, which has close links with the Taiwanese games market and a market leader in Southeast Asia, uses its extensive knowledge to effectively market Chinese Wuxia blockbusters in this region.
Unlike the old Gulong Zhengba launched in Taiwan and Hong Kong in 2012, New Gulong Online has incorporated the use of new technology to provide gamers with a better and smoother game play.
IAHGames has partnered Zealot Digital, which has game development divisions in Gaoxiong, Taiwan and Singapore, to create New Gulong Online at a cost of TWD 500 million (S$21 million).
Singapore has played an important part in developing New Gulong Online as the games engine was designed by the Singapore team. Gamers in Indonesia and Thailand will also be able to enjoy the game – it will be introduced to the two countries in their respective languages of Bahasa Indonesia and Thai later this year.
Based on the popular Chinese Wuxia novelist Gulong, New Gulong Online is the latest Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) by Zealot Digital. More than a hundred people from Zealot Digital’s team spent three years to develop the game.
The game captures the essence of Gulong’s story with its six warring factions and hundreds of Kongfu fighting styles. Gamers can marvel at the high quality graphics depicting minute details of the game
GuLong Online’s main story content is derived from the popular novels “Passionate Swordmaster & Heartless Sword”「多情劍客無情劍」, “Xiao Li Swift Darts”「小李飛刀」, “Ultimate Pair”「絕代雙驕」and “Adventures of Lu Xiao Feng”「陸小鳳傳奇」.
Game players will meet and interact with many established characters and heroes from the classic Gulong novels, and experience the many aspects of Chinese Kongfu and weapons. There are more than 6,000 story plots and adventures and over 200 monsters and story scenes to keep players entertained with New Gulong Online.

The closed beta testing will be at the end of the first quarter of this year. Gamers will experience the treacherous dungeons, new skills, and various in-game activities such as auction houses, item mall, and VIP benefits.

Players can get involved in weekly Faction Wars to show their prowess and conquer territories and resources.

Different kinds of weapons are essential in GuLong’s novels. New Gulong Online features 10 Legendary weapons from the Bai Xiao Sheng’s book: “Legendary Arms Manual”. These Legendary Weapons grant the wielder untold power and knowledge of Hidden Skills.
Players will have the opportunity to participate in the weekly Legendary Tournaments where they will fight for the right to wield the Weapon of Legends – but only for the week they earned it.
